Let me share a story with you....
In
May 12, 2008, at exactly 2: 50 pm in the afternoon, I was watching a TV series of Takeshi’s Castle when an
emergency news came up and stopped my comedy show L.
A news reporter came up, with a serious tone, he apologized for the
disruption of our show; in alert mode, He mentioned there was an a BIG ( 7.9
magnitude – Richter scale for any geographical people out there) massive
earthquake in China at Sichuan. At least
88’000 people are killed or missing. It
ruined all the buildings and homes of every human kind. It was really devastating. But the story is not over yet.
At this point, the news reporter starts
tearing up and I was really confused why.
But he mumbled, at the peak
mountains of Sichuan, The Wolong Nature
Reserve has lost an amount of pandas and workers who were trying to save their
lives. The centre was completely
damaged. Then, the news reporter showed
us a mini clip, it was workers carrying a box… the news reporter sadly said, a
nine year old mother panda called Mao Mao, was found crushed by her home;
because of the river behind her home, it created a landslide. Respectfully, the workers buried Mao Mao’s
body.
Everyone bowed their heads as He
Changgui (the panda helper of Mao Mao) stood forward, crying, and placed Mao
Mao’s favourite food on her grave. They
prayed for her, silently. From now on,
He Changgui promised to himself to take care of her babies and their
babies. He will visit Mao Mao everyday,
to offer Mao Mao her favourite food…
He
and Mao has a strong relationship as He treated Mao as his child. He will always keep Mao in his heart forever. As he said “ It’s like you could say
something and she would understand you, if you were happy, she was happy too.”
“She was my own dear child.”
This story touched me, it made me realise, everyone has their special someone in
their hearts, even though if it’s an animal.
They could still be special to you.
There are chances that your special someone might just be taken away
from you in a flash, that’s why you enjoy every minute you have with them. Like He & Mao.
Mao Mao was my true inspiration, that's why I made this blog, as a sign of remembrance for her...
